The Golden Chance
Looking forlorn and gray
Abandoned forever within the bay
No more will she sail the Sound
In a sheltered cove she is bound
Her boards are loose
And her decking gone
Her captain has long since gone home
She rests in peace for evermore
On a secluded Isle of Luing shore
Long forgotten
Cast aside
To end her days bereft of pride
Oh how I wish I could be
Once again on that rolling sea
